As spring approaches and all of our thought turns to getting back out on the trails it’s time to re-energize the plans for CORE. The plan remains the same. That is to develop a team of volunteers who want to serve our community, support HPT all the while enjoying our trail system. We plan to continue with the two tier system of Patrollers and Ambassadors.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the patrol send an email to me at patrol at humanpoweredtrails.com . Once I have an accurate number of participants I will begin the process by scheduling an informational and organizational meeting. Education and training classes will follow. For those of you whom have already expressed an interest an email will follow shortly.

I have tried to describe our objectives in earlier posts (HERE). If you have additional questions or expertise to share (I know we have many talented people amongst us) please contact me. The success of this project is only as good as those who participate!

Things got bogged down last year. But like Banjo the bear it’s time to shake off the cobwebs and get going. We will make it happen!
