Yea, that OB1 tree is a killer. A log rollover that rotted and spun out of place. Near the bottom section.

We'll get to them asap - not 100% sure when that will be though - hopefully this week!

We've been aware of the OB1 log for some time now - it happened in our last rain event (late June). We may try to get it repositioned back where it was with some creative cutting to untwist it.

Also anyone looking for something to do on Thursdays we are doing trail work at HPT on the 1st & 3rd Thurs and in Lower Hixon on the 2nd & 4th Thurs. We are not at any shortage of work to be done in either place - especially in lower hixon where some trail modifications will need to be done on several trails to allow for the new XC Ski Groomer to pass this winter... (Hint Hint XC Skiers )

any "sweaty saturday" workdays on the schedule for this year?

At this time there are no sweaty saturdays scheduled, but like everything in life that may change especially if a new trail that has been in a holding pattern begins this year...

The tree on Skeeter has been removed as of last night, the OB1 tree is still in place and will hopefully be handled as crew leaders / chainsaw safety certified people can get to it.
