I had the privilege/pleasure of giving a tour of HPT to a couple from New Zealand today. Aaron and Caroline started out riding at Whistler and have traveled to Portland, California, Idaho, Moab, Winter Park, Keystone, Vail, Aspen and decided to make a pit stop in little ol LaCrosse, Wi when they found HPT on the internet. They were at an intersection unsure of which way to go when I came upon them, so I showed them around. They are only staying for like a day or so then are continuing east. Hitting Quebec, West Virginia and I think Vermont and probably a lot more. They were excellent company and they seemed impressed by what HPT has to offer, although they haven't done much for XC. Just thought I would share with everyone.

I also had a nice talk about a half hour, with them when they were done riding and taking a lunch break before heading on there way. They are on a six month vacation.
Sounds like they do a lot of down hill, they talked about places with chair lifts.
I happened to have a HPT trail map that I gave them for there scrap book.
They just travel in a van staying at wal-marts.

"sigh" a 6 month vacation traveling the country hitting lift access DH trails 95 percent of the time. Darn my job and mortgage payment.
