Human Powered Trails, Inc. is once again partnering with the Wisconsin DNR to host a Trail Master Certification course taught by Trail Design Specialists, June 16th-19th.
This
is a four day course and will cover the latest advances in trail design, construction and
maintenance with a focus on long term sustainability and ease of
maintenance.

ALL TRAILBUILDING WITHIN THE LA CROSSE BLUFFLANDS AREA
IS HERBY CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!

We will meet at the HPT Parking lot
at 5:00pm on Monday's until further notice.
We have plenty of other projects we can work on including
improving existing trails and creating the best Dirt Park in the MidWest!

At Wednesday nights General Meeting the first annual HPT "Volunteer of the Year" was recognized. This award goes to the person that best displays all of the attributes we look for in a volunteer: Commitment, Total Contribution, Quality of Work, Leadership, and Willingness to grow and Teach others.
There were four finalists selected, who were then voted on (by secret ballot) by the HPT Board of Directors.

 At the General Meeting on Wednesday, February 18th all supporting
members will be able to vote on the nominees for the Human Powered
Trails Board of Directors.
The nominees were selected by the Nominating Committee and once voted in will serve a three year term.
The HPT Bylaws were changed at the last board meeting to allow up to 11 members on the board.
The board nominees for 2009 are…
