altFinal arrangements have been made for CORE training. The paramedics at Tri-State Ambulance have agreed to provide the CPR and First-aid training to CORE members.

Training will take place on Saturday, May 30th at the Tri-State location at 2827 26th St. South in La Crosse.
We plan to start at 8:00am.
Please plan to spend most of the day but effort will be made to wrap things up as soon as possible.

On Sunday, May 31st Pete Taylor will provide instruction on basic field repairs for bikes. This course will take considerably less time but I’d like to have a brief organizational meeting some time during the session. The time and location will be announced soon. The location depends on the number of people participating.  I suspect we will meet in the early afternoon and will not take up the day.
Take a moment to check out the IMBA/NMBP web page on patroller skills: http://www.imba.com/nmbp/skills/skills_repairs.html.

We have decided to meet Sunday, May 31st at Bluedog Cycles, 325 S Main St, Viroqua, WI at 1:30.

We'll group there and then make our way to Sidie Hollow Park for the off-road cycle repair session. You don't need to bring anything but yourself and your bike if you'd like to participate in a post class ride. There will be snacks and and beverages. A general organizational meeting will be thrown in there somewhere as I think most who want to participate in patrol activities will be present. We will have a follow-up meeting for those who were unable to attend.

Look forward to seeing you Saturday and Sunday!

Please RSVP as soon as possible so we have a better understanding of how many people we can expect.

When might the first aid training be wrapping up on Saturday? Not that I've got much else to do. Also if anyone wants to carpool on Sunday let me know. I can haul 2 more bikes and plan to stay for the ride.
