It's that time of year again ...

The DNR Trail Master Certification Class will start on Tuesday and run thru Friday. We will be hosting participants from Wausau, Two Rivers, Sheboygan, Eau Claire, Manitowoc,
Trempealeau and La Crosse. The instructor, Mike Riter, is from Georgia. Brigit Brown, the DNR State Trails Coordinator out of Madison will also be in town on one day of the class.

The classroom portion will be held at the Midway Hotel on Rose Street. This will be a great place for any local folks to meet and greet the class participants and the Instructor to share trail ideas, stories ... lies (!!!) in the evening after class.

This may be an unusual week in that the weather is forecasted to be warm and sunny - not something we have experienced for a Trail School in recent years - so we may not be back at the hotel right after class each night. We may be enjoying the trails

I'll try to post an update as to where we are so anyone who wants to "rub shoulders" has that chance !
