armored_trail.jpgA big thank you to Business Objects/SAP for coming out and volunteering some time on the trails.  Business Objects/SAP gives volunteer time to the community every year and this year Glenn, Ben, Anita, Mark, and Patty decided to come up to HPT and give us a helping hand. We armored a section that was getting water run off from the bluff above.  This will help in stabilizing the ground by slowing and dispersing the water over an area to reduce force of it over the trail.

We also cleared brush from sections of the trail where it will now give people a clearer view of what may be coming around a corner.  Finally we cleared more of the corridor for future trail that will be in development yet this season.  We did a good amount in just three hours.

It's great to see local business come out to help.  HPT really appreciates their help along with the opportunity to participate with Business Objects/SAP in a community effort!
