A tentative schedule has been put together to train those who have an interest in participating in the CORE Patrol. I will post the dates and times of CPR/First-aid and field bike repair within a few days. As soon as possible send an email to patrol at humanpoweredtrails.com expressing your interest and you will be placed on the group email list for future contact.

For those of you whom I've already heard from keep an eye on your email for details. Ideally I would like to meet as a group before the training sessions to get more organized and see what kind of ideas or suggestions you may have to shape your patrol. Let’s make this patrol a success.

Thanks to a friend of Dustin Moburg (she will remain anonymous until we see her on the trails) we now have a logo. So I guess that make us official. We are putting together plans to get jerseys and shirts for those who are interested.

i dont know much about what it takes to be on the core patrol. does this require scheduled times that one needs to be riding or is one just on duty whenever he/she goes riding? what if i dont have any cpr/first aid training?

Good questions! As to not re-invent the wheel take a look at the CORE setcion of this web page as it will define our mission and objectives that we hope to achieve as a patrol. CPR and First-aid training will be offer to those who currently do not have it and to those wishing to renew. Some members will have professions or training that exceed the of the basics and that's OK and encouraged. We all want to work together.

As far as the details of patrolling go we need discussion as a group to define how we plan to meet our mission. The more participants, the greater the outcome. Hope this answers your questions.
