In addition to our many individual contributors, many organizations have contributed financially to help Human Powered Trails succeed. HPT, the local community, and trail users all benefit from their generous works and giving.

 The purpose of the La Crosse Community Foundation is to enrich the quality of life in the greater La Crosse area by:
- Attracting charitable gifts, chiefly in the form of endowment funds, promoting community philanthropy;
- Serving as a steward for entrusted funds and using these precious resources wisely and efficiently;
- Supporting programs and activities of economic, educational, social and cultural non-profit organizations;
- Providing leadership by serving as a convenor/catalyst in identifying problems and opportunities and shaping effective responses to them;
- Being a community resource and providing services to donors, non-profit agencies and the community-at-large.

 Bikes Belong’s mission is to put more people on bicycles often. We work to make bicycling better in America by:
- Working with the federal government to maximize federal funding for bicycling
- Awarding grants to help create more and better places to ride
- Sponsoring programs to help cities and towns become more bicycle-friendly
- Promoting bicycling to get more people riding
- Cultivating cooperation throughout the bicycle industry
