Thus far Human Powered Trails, Inc. has worked to build and maintain over 12 miles of trails, that by knowledgeable estimates, are worth well over $300,000 in manpower and material, and we have done it on a shoestring budget of $56,500.

The economic impact to the La Crosse area from the thousands of tourists the trails attract each year is difficult to quantify, but again, people who have studied such impact place the value at well over a million dollars and climbing.
