There is a tree down at the bottom of the abyss trail. should be done on or before the 27th. will require some chainsaw work.

i have a suggestion for the tree that is down on the abyss. i say chainsaw off the top of the tree that is hanging out into the last part of french connection and build a feature/stunt on the trunk of the tree that is at the bottom of abyss. it wouldnt take much effort to make a small "b" line around the trunk and the part of trail it sits on is sort of flat. just a thought

That is an awesome suggestion. By making a technical stunt out of it and a B line around it, your letting nature take its course on the trail and making every rider happy. Great approach!

I'll be happy to work on it on Monday. One of you "stunt riders" can accompany me and let me know what you want done !!

I'll be up there Monday night to help you out with that technical stunt and B line. It shouldn't take very long to do. I'll give GoldenBoy a halla to see if he can make the Monday trail work night too.

Alrighty GoldenBoy,
Let me know how you want the stunt so that it is done right. I'm still pretty new at this stuff and I don't want to make it too technical. Later!

my only suggestion is to make it cooler than just piling up logs on both sides to get over it. i dont know what kind of resources are available but a 12"-18" wide ladder bridge up and over would be cool. my knowledge is limited in that area too.....i dont have many great ideas. thats why i posted it as a suggestion so someone smarter than me could make something cool.

Hey Golden Boy,
The tree was cut apart and moved out of the way of traffic. We didn't take the time Monday night to do any building. It will have to be done at a later date.
